A fascinating talk by Edward Green about his role as Managing Director of Garrard, the Crown Jewellers. At Garrard, Green looked after the large Royal Jewellery Collection and assisted members of the Royal Family with their own personal collections of jewellery pieces.

About Edward Green:
Edward Green entered the jewellery trade at the tender age of 23, packing parcels at a West End jeweller in London. Working with fine jewellery became a passion and by the age of 27, he was running the main jewellery department at Harrods.
After several successful years there, he joined the Mappin & Webb Jewellery Group. From running an exclusive single outlet, he was soon asked to supervise the purchasing of jewellery for the entire Mappin & Webb chain as its Merchandise Director. At 31, Green was appointed the Managing Director of Garrard, the Crown Jewellers and ran the company that looked after the large Royal Jewellery Collection as well assisting members of the Royal Family with their own collections. A few years later, he was appointed to run both Garrard and the Mappin & Webb Jewellery Group in tandem.
He now owns his own business, ‘Edward Green‘, buying and selling directly to clients, backed by a team of specialists.
