Our Project Managers are responsible for working with our internal teams and our clients to ensure that our projects are completed successfully. Roles within Project Management include:

We have a central finance team who’s responsibility it is to work with all of our businesses ensuring that we manage our money effectively at all times. Site Management

Site Managers are based on our project sites and will ensure that the works that are carried out are done so safely and effectively at all times. They are ultimately responsible for all site operations. Roles with Site Management include:

Marketing and Communications

How we present ourselves, whether that is the values of the business or showcasing a great piece of work we have completed is very important. To help us do this we have a Marketing and Communications team, their role is to attract new customers, mange our public relations and engagement with the press and media. The team also lead on internal communications to our people across all our businesses. Roles within Marketing and Communication include:

Commercial Management

It’s really key that we are able to manage the finances of all of our projects. To help do this we have commercial teams in each of our businesses who are responsible for ensuring that we have specialist suppliers appointed for each project and to ensure our projects are delivered on budget. Human Resources

Safety, Health, Environment and Sustainability

For us as a business, nothing comes before safety. To help ensure that we work in a safe and responsible manner we have a team of professionals. They might help introduce new and safer ways of working, or educating our site teams on changing regulations that affect the construction industry. Pre-Construction

To help us win work, and then plan how to deliver that work successfully we have a number of people who work within Pre-Construction. Pre-Construction focuses on planning activities before actually start on site, whether that is related to the design of the project, how much it should cost to complete or how long it will takes. Roles within Pre-Construction include:

IT

It would be impossible for us to be successful as a business if we did not have great technology and systems. Our IT function looks after these networks and systems, always looking for more innovative ways so we can be even more efficient in delivering work. Roles within IT include:

Trades

For our maintenance works across property and rail we employ a number of operatives whose role it is to go out to our sites and carry out repair works. If this is for a resident whose home we are helping to maintain this might be replacing a window or a door so they feel safe. Alternatively it could be on part of the rail network where our operative is there so the public can travel without disruption. Roles within Trades include:
