Our walking tour combines historic and religious sites &amp; interesting stories.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 20px\">\n<div style=\"margin: 20px 10px;font-size: 15px;line-height: 22px;font-weight: 400;text-align: left\">\n<p><strong>About the Tour:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This guided walking tour starts in the heart of historic Brighton, at the entrance to the city Museum. <\/p>\n<p>From there, our walk will take us on a journey through Brighton\u2019s history including details of events and places where the Jewish community has been a central part of life in the city since the 18th century.<\/p>\n<p>We will wind our way through the streets and &#8216;twittens&#8217; of the Old Town, noting Blue Plaques to some of its former Jewish residents and hearing their stories, discovering near-forgotten sites of Jewish shops and schools in the heart of Brighton, and also visiting the location of its early synagogues. This one of a kind tour is not to be missed!<\/p>\n<p><strong>About our Guide:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Marc Gardiner is an enthusiastic tour guide with a passion for the history and geography of the places that he visits. Originally a qualified accountant and university lecturer, Marc has a Master\u2019s degree in Modern Jewish History and is training to become an official City of London guide.
